Packaging and Cold Chain
At Amerilink Floratrader, we know that proper packaging, optimal refrigeration, and speed are essential to delivering the freshest flowers and greens to our customers.
Special care begins the moment each stem is cut. Immediately after harvest, our flowers and greens are transported to our temperature-controlled warehouse and cooler in Mexico, where they’re properly hydrated and carefully inspected for quality. Here, each floral variety is thoughtfully packaged to ensure safe travel and maximum freshness.
Once prepared, our products are transported to Miami in refrigerated trailers that maintain the ideal cold chain throughout the journey. At our Miami facility, flowers and greens are stored briefly in our state-of-the-art coolers before being shipped out promptly to their final destinations across the U.S. and Canada.
